Hi, I’m Kate. As a dual American-Swedish national now living in Espoo, Finland, I bring a unique blend of cultural experiences to my practice. Having spent time living in France and Italy as well, I understand the complexities of adapting to new environments.
I am currently training to become a psychotherapist and offer therapy, counseling, and coaching services in English. Whether you’re an individual or part of a couple, an adult or young person seeking support, I’m here to help you navigate life’s challenges with compassion and understanding. Feel free to reach out if you’d like to know more or schedule an initial session.
I am currently training in integrative psychotherapy with a focus on Transactional Analysis (TA) at The Link Centre in southern UK. My training is accredited by the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). To ensure a high level of professional practice, I adhere to the ethical standards set by the UKCP. Additionally, I am a member of the Finnish Association for Transactional Analysis (FinTA), and the European Association for Transactional Analysis (EATA). I uphold the ethical and professional guidelines established by these organizations.
I am not able to offer Kela-subsidized therapy services in Finland. If the cost of therapy is a hinder for you, I encourage you to reach out to me about low-cost therapy options. I reserve space for a limited number of clients who need affordable therapy. This is part of my dedication to making therapy accessible to all who need it.
